Joe Taylor

Joe Taylor is a multidisciplinary artist working across theater, music, and film, and serves as playwright, composer, sound designer, and video artist for The Last Show on Earth. He is the songwriter and frontman of the indie rock group Kid Scientist and has been composing music for and performing with ERA since 2015. The Last Show on Earth is the culmination of years of writing, technical experimentation, and creative collaboration, and would not have been possible without the talent and dedication of all the artists who helped turn an increasingly impossible collection of ideas about press conferences, death, yogurt, and human meaning into an actual show.

Lucy Cashion

Lucy Cashion is the director, co-producer, and co-scenic designer of The Last Show on Earth. She is the founding artistic director of Equally Represented Arts (ERA), where she develops formally adventurous performances (and sometimes films) in collaboration with an intellectually curious and creatively brave artistic community. She is also an associate professor of theatre at Saint Louis University and a guest director and teaching artist with Prison Performing Arts. Her work investigates the relationship among theatrical form, systems of knowledge, and the material conditions in which performance is made. She holds an MFA in Theatre from Columbia University.

Miranda Félix

Miranda Félix is grateful to work on a play about AI and the end of the world. It feels relevant, or at least that’s what her algorithm has deemed as relevant these days. You might remember her for playing Babooshka in Romanov Family Yard Sale or Major Comrade Andreas in The Brechtfast Club. She is thrilled to share the stage once again with this incredibly talented ensemble. She wants to thank all the humans in the production team for their humanness.

Ashwini Arora

Ash is a human who wears many hats, including parent, Managing Director (x2), and small business owner! This is Ash's fourth time working on an ERA show. She is grateful for this group of humans who make her feeling welcome, even on the days when her system is glitching. Thanks, people!

Denisse Chavez

Denisse is happy to be working with ERA again! She received her BA in Theatre Arts from The University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, TX and her lighting design MFA from Purdue University. Her design work has been recognized by the United States Institute of Theatre Technology with the Jonathan Resnick Lighting Design Award. Her credits include Cabaret with The J, Hamlet and As You Like It with the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, and Mojada with the Indianapolis Shakespeare Company.

Meredith LaBounty

Meredith is very excited to be working with ERA. She earned her M.F.A in Costume Design from Florida State University in 2021. After graduate school she was the Costume Designer and Shop Manager at Colby College in Maine. She spent 5 summers at the Utah Shakespeare Festival as a Senior Technician in the Costume Shop. She has been a freelance Designer in St. Louis for many years. Designing and building shows such as Trash Macbeth (Circle Award 2017), Oedipus Apparatus, Dollhouse by Three Manufactures, End of the World Cabaret. Her next show will be the Little Shop of Horrors at St. Charles Community College

Jimmy Bernatowicz

Jimmy Bernatowicz is a St. Louis–based production manager, stage manager, and sound designer. He currently serves as Production Manager and Stage Management Supervisor in the Performing Arts Department at Washington University in St. Louis. His regional credits include work with Metro Theater Company, ERA, SATE, The Midnight Company, Prison Performing Arts, COCA, Circus Flora, the St. Louis Shakespeare Festival, and Opera Theatre of Saint Louis. Jimmy is a graduate of Saint Louis University, where he studied Theatre and English.

Spencer Lawton

Spencer Lawton is a St. Louis theatre artist whose work with Equally Represented Arts encompasses directing, producing, sound design, technical production, and audience services. He directed Act II of ERA’s Dollhouse by Three Manufacturers and served as an associate producer, assistant technical director, and sound designer for the production. His previous work with ERA includes house management, patron services, and marketing for Never Let Go: A One-Woman Titanic. For The Last Show on Earth, Spencer serves as Associate Producer and House Manager.

Morgan Schindler

Morgan Schindler is thrilled to be working with ERA again. Some of their past stage credits include Spirits to Enforce (Swing, The Midnight Company), The Wolves (46, SLU Theatre and Dance), A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Snout, SLUTD). When she’s not performing, she’s happy to be involved in the collaborative process in any other way possible, with offstage credits including Romanov Family Yard Sale (House Manager, ERA), and Wolf Kings (Sound Board Op, Young Liar), and DOLLHOUSE BY THREE MANUFACTURERS (Anne Marie). They would like to thank She’d like to thank every single Great Ape for being so great.

Lottie Wheeler

Lottie Wheeler (she/her) is a theatre artist and writer in her third year of undergraduate studies pursuing degrees in theatre and English at Saint Louis University. She firmly belives in the midst of collaborators, she is in the hands of something beyond herself: the wild, human need to be known and to create. This is her second ERA show after assistant stage mangaging DOLLHOUSE by three manufacturers last summer. Finally, she would like to thank her mentor, professor, and director of this wonderful show Lucy Cashion for her continued support.

Jack Rimar

Jack Rimar is a St. Louis theatre artist working in performance and stage management. He appeared as a member of the ensemble in Saint Louis University’s multimedia production Dreaming of Lear and served as Stage Manager for ERA’s Dollhouse by Three Manufacturers. He joins The Last Show on Earth as Assistant Stage Manager.

Eli Saesanger

Eli is a screenwriter from Imperial, Missouri. He recently graduated from Saint Louis University with a Bachelors in English and a minor in film. While at SLU, he worked on productions like Macbeth and Immediate Theatre, both as a Dramaturg and Sound Operator. Although he has experience with and a love for theatrical productions, he shares that same love for film and storytelling. In his free time, he likes to write feature films and shorts, and help on film sets.

Sam Golden

Sam Golden is a multi-instrumentalist, producer, arranger, and the founder of Holiday Heart recording studio. He collaborates frequently with local musicians including Beth Bombara, Nick Gusman, and TJ Muller. His Western Swing group, Fiddlin' Sam and the Bolo Band, is releasing their first album in December. Sam has a corgi mix named Bickie.

Dustin Sholtes

Dustin Sholtes is a St. Louis–based percussionist, drummer, and music director. He performs with the Rats and People Motion Picture Orchestra, an ensemble that composes and performs original scores for classic silent films. He is also music director of the Van Ella Band and drummer for Otherfather. Sholtes studied jazz performance at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.

Jake Santhuff

This is Jakes second time working with ERA, having previously served as a swing on Romanov Family Yard Sale. Jake is a graduate from SLU, where he majored in Theatre. Jake would like to thank ERA for giving him an opportunity to stage manage for the first time outside of a school environment and hopes to live up to expectations.

Martha Kamau

Martha is a recent SLU Theatre graduate and is excited to be working on her first production with ERA! Her previous acting credits include Judy in Small Mouth Sounds (SLU-APO), Chad in High School Musical (Queen Mary University of London), and Kayleen in Gruesome Playground Injuries (STLCC-Meramec). Outside of theatre, you can find Martha binge watching reality tv, going to concerts, or creating content for her TikTok @marthakamauu. She would like to thank God, her friends, and her family for their undeniable support, and the ERA family for welcoming her to the team with open arms.

David Joseph

David Joseph is a senior at Saint Louis University and is extremely excited to be working on his second ERA production! David previously worked on the Romanov Fundraiser Picture $how at ERA as an Assistant Stage Manager. Performance credits include Mischa Bachinski in Ride the Cyclone, Malcolm in Macbeth, Baron Tuzenbach in Three Sisters and Directing credits include Small Mouth Sounds and The Proposal. Outside of the theatre, David likes to explore nature, try new food and exercise. He would like to thank his coworkers at SLU Housing and Residence Life, Lucy and Joey, Jake, his friends and family for their support!

Emma Glose

Emma Glose is a St. Louis–based theatre director and artist whose work encompasses live performance and video. Her directing credits include Medea, If Only, a contemporary adaptation of Euripides’ tragedy presented by Critique Theatre Company. She joins ERA’s The Last Show on Earth as a camera operator, helping integrate live video into the production’s theatrical world.
