ANTIGONE: requiem per Patriarchus — The Chapel, August 2019

A contemporary, interdisciplinary adaptation of Antigone developed through a multi-year collaboration.

About the Production

ANTIGONE: requiem per Patriarchus was co-produced by Equally Represented Arts and Slightly Askew Theatre Ensemble.

The production radically re-centered Antigone, multiplying her into seven Antigones and placing ancient tragedy in dialogue with contemporary structures of justice, gender, testimony, power, and public reckoning.
