COVID-19 Health & Safety

MO Arts.jpg

ERA has been Missouri ArtSafe certified.

ERA is committed to always taking precautions to keep our artists, audience, production staff, and team safe. To draft its reopening plan, ERA consulted guidelines and recommendations issued by the CDC, OSHA, Missouri Department of Health & Senior Services, the City of St. Louis (especially the ‘COVID-19 Coronavirus Information’ page of their website), and the St. Louis County Government (especially the ‘Coronavirus (COVID-19) Information Center’ page of their website). We have also viewed the Missouri ArtSafe video training. Since we rent spaces throughout the St. Louis area for rehearsals and performances, we will actively coordinate our efforts with these facilities to ensure the safety and health of our constituents.

Planned measures include, but are not limited, to:

  • Cashless ticket purchasing and contactless check-in procedures;

  • Health screening questionnaire upon arrival for guests, staff, and visitors;

  • A name and phone number will be collected along with entrance/exit time for each party for purposes of contact tracing;

  • Distinct seating with dedicated entrances/exits to the performance spaces;

  • Regular cleaning and disinfecting of our spaces and high-touch surfaces with EPA-certified cleaning supplies. Hand sanitizer will also be readily available;

  • Auditions and rehearsals will be coordinated to minimize the number of people in a space at once time;

  • Appropriate social distancing will be enforced, when possible, and masks will be required to be properly worn at all times by anyone of the age of 2;

  • Additional time will be added to intermission to allow for distancing measures to be in effect for those using restrooms;

  • In the event of a confirmed case of infection, contact information from contract tracing measures (see above) will be used to notify individuals of potential exposure.

Keep this in mind and prepare yourselves.

Xoxo,
ERA
